Trip Cairns to Sydney - 12.12. until 29.12.03

After Sydney we went to Cairns to discover the famous Great Barrier Reef.

We saw lots of fishes like the Moorish Idol and the Butterflyfish...

...some Humbugs and the turtles as well as wonderful corals.

Just corals! - And that was our dive boat.

After Carins we rented a car and went to Port Douglas.

On the way to Townsville we saw the Millaa Millaa falls.

Next to Townsville was the Billabong Sanetuary where we 'met' some animals.

Nice couple! - It's just a black head phython :-)

Enough Animals! So, we drove to Rockhampton to see its Botanical Garden.

The Japanese Garden and the a war memorial (one of hundreds we saw)

In Hervey Bay we met Antonella Woods!

And then we made a two day trip to Fraser Island

Everything consist of sand except the indian head.

After Fraser Island we went to Surfers Paradise.

It has a really nice mall with lot of shops and things to do.

There we went out for dinner on the 25th of December.
